HSU welcomes new IR and aged care ministers

The Health Services Union (HSU) congratulates Mark Butler who will take on the role of Minister for Health and Aged Care, Anika Wells on her appointment as Minister for Aged Care, and Ged Kearney on her appointment as Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care. 

The HSU also welcomes the appointment of Tony Burke as Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, he will have an important role in the lifting of aged care wages and improvement of working conditions in the sector. 

The HSU will work closely with the incoming Ministers and Federal Government to ensure that aged care reform is their top priority.
