We are excited to announce HSU’s newly elected National Secretary
On Friday 16 November 2018, Lloyd Williams had been officially elected as the new National Secretary.
Lloyd is the HSU VIC Branch No. 2 (Health and Community Services Union (HACSU)) Branch Secretary, and will also remain as the current HACSU Branch Secretary.
Lloyd has been with HACSU since 1989 under many roles including Health and Safety, Senior Organiser, Executive Officer/Assistant Secretary and held his Branch Secretary position since 1999. A long time union activist and industry reform advocate, we are proud to have Lloyd join our National office team.
Our sincerest congratulations to Lloyd and warm welcome to the team. We look forward to Lloyd’s new ideas and directions for our Union.

The expansion of paid mandatory placements to a further ten allied health professions is a hard-fought victory for students and the future of Australia’s health system, the Health Services Union said today.
