New modern Doctor's award made today

Today the Full Bench of the Australian Industrial Relations Commission made a new modern award for Medical Practioners.
The award builds on the Nationalal Employment Standards to provide the minimum conditions for Medical Practioners, Interns, Residents, Registrars and Senior Doctors.
The new Award commences on 1 January 2010.
