New Modern Aged Care Industry Award Made

Today the Full Bench of the Australian Industrial Relatios Commission made a new modern Aged Care Industry Award.
The Award will apply to all those employees who work in the Aged Care Industry whose employer is deemed to be in the federal industrial relations system.
The new Award commences on 1 January 2010 and applies to the vast majority of workers in the Aged Care Industry who are not covered by the three modern occupational health awards.
