The Rudd Labor Government Ministry

A new Government, a new Prime Minister and a new Ministry.

Now that Labor and Kevin Rudd have won the election, a new Ministry has been sworn in.

For Health Workers, Nicola Roxon is Minister for Health and Ageing. She will be supported by Justine Elliot as Minister for Ageing.

Jenny Macklin is Minister for Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigineous Affairs. She will be supported by Tanya Plibersek as Minister for the Status of Women and by Bill Shorten as Parliamentary Secretary for Disabilities and Children's Services.

Julia Gillard is Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Industrail Relations, Minister for Education and Minister for Social Inclusion. She will be supported by Kate Ellis as Minister for Youth and Brendan O'Connor and Minister for Employment Participation.

Joe Ludwig is the Minister for Human Services.

The Health Services Union looks forward to persuing the interests of health workers and their families with the new government.
