NSW Government supports inquiry

16 October 2007

Last night, NSW Premier, Morris Iemma, said the NSW government would support a parliamentary inquiry into the running of Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH).

The inquiry will investigate claims of under resourcing and poor care at RNSH.

The Premier said the inquiry will be "an open, transparent process, not a crass political witch-hunt proposed by the (NSW) Leader of the Opposition.
