Branch Secretary Returned Unopposed

The secretary of the Victorian No.5 branch of the Health Services Union, Ms Terrie Seymour has been re-elected unopposed.
Ms Seymour said the Australian Electoral Commission had recently confirmed the results of the election for officer bearers and the committee of management of the branch, known as the Health and Community Services Staff Association.
The new committee of management will take up office for three years following the annual general meeting to be held next month.
Other senior office holders are president Phillip Bain (Northern Division of General Practice), senior vice president Irene Webber (Northern Health), junior vice president Silvio Proy (Womens and Childrens Health) and assistant secretary Helen Taylor (Centre for Cultural Ethnicity and Health).
