Government Review of Aged Care Complaints Investigation Scheme

The Australian Government has engaged Associate Professor Merrilyn Walton to conduct a review of the operation of the Aged Care Complaints Investigation Scheme.

The Department of Health and Ageing has provided a Consultation Paper with background information.

Consultation closes on 28 August 2009. The Consultation Paper provides information for aged care workers and members of the public can make submissions.

The Office of Aged Care Quality and Compliance has a brochure available for aged care workers who want to make a complaint.
